Terms of Service & EULA

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and LuxTax Optimizer for the use of our tax optimization software and services. By accessing or using LuxTax Optimizer, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By creating an account, accessing, or using LuxTax Optimizer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use LuxTax Optimizer for your personal tax planning and optimization purposes.
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems or bots to access the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
LuxTax Optimizer provides tax calculation and optimization tools for residents of Luxembourg. Our service includes:
- Tax liability calculations based on Luxembourg tax laws
- Deduction tracking and analysis
- Investment portfolio tax optimization
- AI-powered tax recommendations and strategies
- Scenario planning and comparison tools
IMPORTANT: LuxTax Optimizer is an informational and educational tool only. It is NOT a substitute for professional tax advice.

- Our calculations are estimates based on general tax rules and may not account for all circumstances
- Tax laws are complex and subject to change; always consult a licensed tax professional
- We are not responsible for any tax liability, penalties, or interest resulting from use of our service
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for filing your taxes
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUXTAX OPTIMIZER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from this EULA or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide to the service
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Keeping your financial and personal information up to date
- Using the service in accordance with this EULA
Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card information. Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy (7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions).
You may terminate your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate this EULA, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide notice where legally required.
As a service operating in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Controller
LuxTax Optimizer acts as the data controller for personal data you provide to us.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on:
- Contract Performance: To provide our tax calculation services
- Legitimate Interest: To improve our services and communicate with you
- Legal Obligation: To comply with tax and financial regulations
- Consent: For marketing communications (which you can opt out of)

Your data may be processed on servers located in the European Union or in countries that provide adequate data protection as determined by the European Commission. Any transfers outside the EU/EEA are subject to appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
All content, features, and functionality of LuxTax Optimizer, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the financial data and information you input into the service. By using our service, you grant us a license to use this data solely to provide our services to you.
We may update this EULA from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the application at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA.
This EULA is governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Any disputes arising from this EULA or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
